Visa Information

US Entry for Nonimmigrants

Depending on where you live, you will need to meet certain entry requirements to visit the United States.

If you need a visa to enter the United States, we recommend that you apply for it as early as possible. Visa applications are subject to more rigorous screening than in the past. For many applicants, an in-person interview may be required as a standard part of visa processing. In addition, applicants affected by these procedures are advised that additional screening is required when submitting their applications and that delays are expected.

Detailed information on travel to the United States, including visa information, can be found on the United States Government websites.

US entry by citizens of Visa Waiver Program Countries

The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) enables most citizens or nationals of participating countries to travel to the United States for tourism or business for stays of 90 days or less without obtaining a visa. Travelers must have a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval prior to travel and meet all requirements which can be found on the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs Visa Services Website.
